MBB: Syracuse Not Selected to NIT

Disappointing ending to the season. Was hoping we would get the NIT offer. Hard to believe we weren’t offered and deserving of a spot.

what was the reason they declined? Was it they were going to lose a couple players to the Portal and not think they could compete?

I’m guessing they wouldn’t be able to field a team without having walk-ons either start or as primary backups to multiple positions. Don’t know that for sure but that’s my guess.
