2024 kid for Magic Austin Hunt is someone to keep an eye on. Has to do some work to be a P5 kid but he’s got a chance to get there.
I just watched his sophomore highlights. Kid can definitely play. Good athlete and scores at all three levels.

1650671223757.pngDucharme just finished an EYBL game in Indianapolis, lost 87-63 to NH Lightning. I saw most of it. He doesn’t do much besides shooting. One of his four buckets was a follow up of another guy’s missed breakaway layup. He’ll never be a strong defender, zone or man. He doesn’t play timid or hesitant but his game has no physicality at all, and he’s not very quick. Played against Elliot Cadeau, who looked good with five assists off the bench. He’s the five star 2024 point we’ve offered and is playing up instead of with the Under 16 team. Ducharme will be a good shooter in college, but he‘s a program guy. Elmarko Jackson please.

Yeah I'm digging Jackson. And Cadeau.

Ducharme's box score from this morning. I watched most of this, he had eight quick points in the first few minutes and didn't do much after that. Didn't look good down the stretch of a close game as his team blew a seven point lead with a couple minutes to go. Final possession, down two with five seconds to go, out of bounds near half court, get the ball to Ducharme who dribbles towards the top of the key and then dribbles it off his foot. Goes straight to a teammate who I thought hit a buzzer three but it was ruled too late.

On Team Durant is Trentyn Flowers, the highly rated 2024 kid playing up on the U17 team that SU is after. He is incredibly impressive for his age. Doesn't start but had a strong game and he's supposed to be on the U16 team. Outplayed teammate Kwame Evans, the #2 2023 kid that SU was after. Flowers looks thinner and with longer legs than I thought from the clips. Kind of feels like a baby deer right now, still growing into his new body and long legs. Can't imagine how good he'll be a year from now when he'll still be just a high school junior. The sky's the limit for him.

This is easily the best player on Ducharme's team. Had 22 and 10 today on 9-17, 4-6 from three. Listed at 6'7" 210 lbs, strong physical kid who plays well inside and out, good feel for the game. Best team that's offered him so far is Providence. Ducharme is also listed at 6'7" but looks like 6'5" to me, and with short arms.

Looks like he had a better offensive game than Wagner, although Wagner had a ton of assists.
I've never seen Wagner have an efficient game scoring. One of many reasons to like Judah is he scores a lot without shooting a lot or dominating the ball. Great at getting to the line.

Boeheim was apparently in Kansas City last night with two assistants watching Estrella and Elmarko Jackson. Now he's in Indianapolis. Thought we were out of it with Buzelis a long time ago. Hasn't been a lot with Bowen and Syracuse recently either, would love it if he's still considering SU. Also on Expressions is Griffiths but he's not playing, I assume he's injured. Maybe we're checking out Royal Brown too? Ducharme's team plays their second game of the day at 6:30pm, Boeheim will probably be there. Good to see we're at least active this weekend.

Happy to see Boeheim himself is out there grinding, not just the assistants.
