Another great episode Mike. I disagree with you on HCHF's discussion not to kick the FG. Where I fault him is running the same play on every 3rd/4th down. By the time he went for it on that 4th down, SU knew exactly who was going to run the ball and where. I think he made the right call. Their FG kicker has struggled this year, he's terrible. SU's offense was tired and one dimensional and at that point in the game couldn't put a drive together. That decision didn't lose them the game, the fumble on their end of the field lost them the game.

I can fault HCDB on some head scratching decisions though. Up 2 scores and you've been moving the ball, taking time off the clock the whole game. He goes away from this and takes 3 deep shots. SU came up with zero yards and took almost no time off the clock. They went away with what was working. This was the turning point in the game. Liberty scores 14 straight points to tie it.

Overall though, I think HCDB had a good game plan. Sometimes I think he "out thinks" what's going on.
