Elliot Cadeau (2024 PG)

Cadeau is with the Lightning, the same AAU program Peter Carey plays on. Maybe we have a relationship there that could help us. The only way to get a top kid like him once the Dukes and Kentuckys go after him is to get in early like we have and maybe get a little help.

Cadeau has been killing it at Pangos. As has our other 2024 point guard target Robert Wright. Both among the leading scorers. Great to see we‘re very much involved with Cadeau. I think that’s probably true with Wright also.
My oldest son actually got this kids autograph in a box of cards, along with some of the other big name high school kids which was crazy to see, I guess that’s NIL for you.

I took it as a sign we would get him.

On3 has an interview with Cadeau this morning with this quote. Adam Zagoria also has an article about Cadeau signing an international NIL deal for close to six figures. One interesting note—he’s repped by Roc Nation. Our recent connections with them can’t hurt. Cadeau and his family from Sweden seem very interested in marketing him and he comments about Syracuse’s large fan base.

Yeah seems like SU has a good shot here. Texas Tech will be tough to beat, and I imagine with the contact period now open and Cadeau headed to Link, he's gonna see his offer sheet grow a bunch.

Interview with Cadeau on rivals this morning, speaking mostly of his scheduled visit to Texas Tech in September.

Like several of the 2024 recruits we're interested in, Cadeau is playing up on the main U17 team. His other games have been quieter than this boxscore, seems to be getting progressively better each game. He's recently back from a tournament in Europe playing for Sweden where he put up huge numbers. Seems like a special player, not a highlight reel type of athlete but a great lead guard, maybe a higher scoring Tyler Ennis.
