Mike, I’m sure you will be coming out with your keys to the game, but it goes without saying that we have to figure out a way to stop the run plus get our own offense going. Again, can we run the ball and find a way to get Tucker going? If Shrader can’t go, CDRW has to be better. In either case, we have to find Gadsden more and need another receiver to step up. If not Alford or Adams, who have shown signs, then someone else from among Cooper, Jackson, Pena, & Hatcher. And again, the OL has to be much better (with or without Ellis) and both provide some holes for the run game and provide better protection for the passing game. Let’s hope we can rise to the occasion on Senior Nite at home and send the seniors out with a game to remember.

Definitely have to get Tucker going. If Shrader is back and healthy that will help. I think the key is the defense getting off the field on third downs.

Completely agree. It would help if they were more creative in the run game. Try to get Tucker on some stretch plays to let him read and react.

I don’t get it. They should have plenty of film on what running plays worked last year and Babers should be intimately familiar with what they had success with last year in the run game. Plus Tucker himself should be a resource to remind them of what running plays worked and what he feels most comfortable running. The OL, too, for that matter.
