Syracuse goes three and out but don't blame DeVito. He threw a beautiful pass to Harris down the sideline, but it was dropped. Rutgers takes over at its own 37 after a nice punt and great coverage by Syracuse special teams.

Well, Syracuse looked to have a stop but then Babers is called for unsportsmanlike conduct (some have suggested for going into the field, but both coaches have done that several times today). Rutgers scores on the next play. 7-0 Rutgers.
That is quite the response from the Syracuse offense. DeVito hits Taj Harris for a 51 yard bomb. Then Sean Tucker runs it in from 24 yards out. Game is tied at 7. 5:54 left in the third.
Syracuse forces a three and out and takes over at the 19. Another strong sequence for the defense. Jason Simmons with excellent coverage on third down.
Syracuse goes three and out. On the punt, they call kick catch interference despite no contact (which you almost never see). Rutgers starts at SU's 41 yard line
Rutgers gets on the board after great field position. Vedral finds a wide open Jovani Haskins for a 30 yard touchdown pass. 14-7 Rutgers with 24 seconds left in the third.
Syracuse goes three and out, and then a shanked punt gives Rutgers the ball at the SU 26.
What more can the Syracuse defense do? Syracuse forces a short field goal attempt, but it is wide right. Syracuse still trails 14-7 and will take over at the 20.
Whelp. On the first play, DeVito is sacked, drops the ball, and Rutgers recovers. At the Syracuse 10.
Rutgers gets a FG out of that possession. Orange down 10 midway through the fourth.
DeVito struggled on that possession. Threw behind Sharod Johnson, then a duck out of bounds on third down. Syracuse punts rather than going for 4th and 10. Rutgers starts at its own 12 up 10 with 7:16 left

Babers is an awful awful coach
Rutgers ran over 4 minutes off the clock and this one is all but over barring a miracle.
