NC State has a great backcourt in Smith and Joiner, who is in his fifth year with his third school. But I think our zone matches up well with them. They are a dribbling team, not a passing team. The teams that can really hurt our zone pass the ball more than dribble it, zipping it around to find several shooters, like UVA and Colgate. NC State's three-guard lineup is small, with Joiner at 6'1" and the shooter Morsell at 6'3". We need Jesse to play well against the wide body Burns. Cautiously optimistic we win one of the most entertaining games of the season.

Depends on how they use the dribble. They have some really good athletes, and penetrating the zone off the dribble can really hurt it as well. But overall I agree; I think this is a decent match up for SU. I also think it’s a must win. Need Jesse to play well, but the wings need to be very active defending and rebounding as well.
