Even though we took a beating here, getting Moore and more so having Weitsman get Moore and knowing he’s out there pitching more made the day a win.

What a terrible performance, particularly from our senior captains. And now we get UVA on short rest and after pressing half the game. The two worst ACC matchups for us are UVA and VaTech. They have a lot of shooters and pass the ball instead of dribble it. Makes the zone look ridiculous trying to chase the ball.
As much as the 24-yr-old Mutts killed us, the guy that really killed us was Cattoor. Besides 20 points and 8 assists, his most important contribution was taking Girard completely out of the game. Putting Pedulla on Judah is a mismatch but it led to most our our offense being Judah dribbling even more than he usually does.
I hoped bringing Benny off the bench might make him more effective, but it did not. His offensive contributions were a missed three, then trying to dribble east-west into traffic which put him back on the bench in the first half, then turning the ball over on a basic inbounds in the second half that put him back on the bench.
Best player on the floor for us tonight might've been Symir. Maliq wasn't bad but could've done better on the boards and defense. Justin hit those threes but was not in rhythm for some other shots, and he struggled on defense. He needs to be a guard, where his size and strength can be an asset even if he gets outquicked sometimes.

I'll be even more excited when we don't sit in a zone against a team that knows how to pass the ball and has everyone including centers hitting threes.

I thought I felt bad after the UNC game, but this was worse.
I’m the opposite. The Miami loss was tough to take and UNC was worse. We were so badly outplayed last night that it didn’t bother me nearly as much.
