Terrible game! I cannot understand why we can’t get Tucker some open lanes when we have basically the same OL as last year. I know we have different schemes, but the coaches should be able to figure this out. All this talk about making sure we don’t underutilize him again, yet we still do it. Very disappointed in the play calling today in general. I’m not impressed with how we are using (or not using) Tucker in the passing game, either.
CDRW was awful and the line was terrible. Quick feet in the pocket, not enough patience, not enough touch on short passes & bad accuracy today. It’s excusable that Gadsden had zero catches (except one brought back) in 5 targets. CDRW missed him when he was wide open once and otherwise threw behind him or over his head or wherever. With Shrader out & Tucker & Gadsden underutilized, how did we expect to score?
Wax played his heart out today on defense and Carter played well, but we otherwise looked flat out there. We looked like a different team. Disappointing. Hope we can show more in our last home game against FSU.
