Prediction for Gapare. Coming from a Maryland guy, with high confidence. Maybe we’ll get Gapare on the decommit or the transfer.

We didn’t even make his top 7.

A bunch of international guys out there, a channel we should be heavily focused on and have had past success in, Jesse, Marek, etc.

If Tafara is planning to reclassify up to 2022, it's no surprise to me that SU didn't make his top 7.
Even with our young and unproven forwards, I'm not sure Gapare would get many minutes this season at Syracuse. He's very raw right now, much more potential than production. Many college coaches are drifting away from high school kids anyway because they prefer more experienced and proven vets they can get in the portal. They’re not very eager for high school kids to reclassify and come in even earlier in their development. DePaul can't be choosy, they'll take him now. I think Gapare was originally a 2022, but he's still only 18 years old, will turn 19 in a couple weeks.

I agree….I’m not that fussed. I don’t love him as a prospect. Especially in ‘22. The bones of a great class are there, just not sure I see it happening.
