Desperately need some transfers in. We definitely have scholarships available now and need the roster depth. A few transfers with good starting potential would really help.

If we aren't able to get a batch of transfers in, then we never will with this staff, Dino is in a desperate situation, which calls for the cliche of desperate measures. we absolutely HAVE to upgrade DL, WR, OL, QB potentially via the portal

Agree, djorange. I’m surprised we only have offers out to OL in the portal so far. It doesn’t help that we are short staffed right now. Need to fill open positions quickly and clarify whether the remaining coaches will be coming back.

I am hoping that is the case with the kid from Albany, we should have offered him at halftime of the game against them!

Another name to consider could be Rich Scangarello, QB coach for the 49ers. He has OC experience at the college level and was recently with the Philadelphia Eagles and OC for Wagner College (so some NE experience as well). Perhaps Jimmy G could recommend him (ha!)

Where will these replacements come from? Are they going to go deeper in the recruits to lower ranked prospects? JUCO? or will they be just as active bringing in from the portal as what's going out? They will look at high schoolers, JUCO and transfers. No need to panic yet until we see how it plays out. Lots of time left.
