How could Red even think that they played good "D"? If there was ever a game to illustrate that The Orange still have have a long way to go before playing good "man" defense, this was it. Couldn't even count the number of totally uncontested layups and 3s Cornell had. SU was essentially defenseless repeatedly - looking incompetent with Cornell driving at will into open lanes to the basket or taking wide open 3s.

Future looks grim if they can't do better than that and Autry thinks that was good "D".

Bottom line - a lucky win for the Orange.

I do think Cornell is pretty good, and I think Earl is a great coach (who runs really good stuff)….so I don’t think it’s as easy a game as it might seem. That said, I agree. Defending without fouling is a really important part, and they have struggled with that. Definitely a work in progress.
