Mike I think Tucker is hurt and was being used mostly as a decoy as the game went on. They know without him on the field that Clemson can just blanket Gadsden and spy Shrader and that is all she wrote. He tapped out a couple of times after making plays. If I am not correct then yes, it would be an absolute travesty on the staff’s part

Looking at the receiving stats, Gadsden had the most targets with 9 for his 6 receptions. Next was Tucker (5 receptions in 5 targets) and Pena (4 receptions in 5 targets), followed by Cooper (2 receptions on 4 targets) & Alford (1 reception on 1 target). There wasn’t a lot of opportunity for another receiver besides Gadsden to step up. Pena & Tucker’s receptions were mostly for short yardage, but Tucker had the TD catch. Seemed like Courtney Jackson could have been used more as he is usually sure handed (except for last game). Alford would be a candidate to step up- he had one terrific catch on his only target. Guys like Adams & Hatcher & Queeley didn’t have much of a shot. Cooper has a chance to step up- he had that one big drop. Looked like Tucker was open a few more times, but they went elsewhere. We need some of these other guys to emerge to avoid the double & triple coverage on Gadsden, like he was covered on our last offensive play where Shrader was intercepted.
