One pleasant surprise to me was Swider’s ball handling, it was better than I expected. The overall passing and ball movement seems crisper than last year.
As Mike said, rebounding is the biggest area of concern. It was the biggest weakness last year, and to be about even with an undersized D2 team is alarming. We want to push the ball more this year to get wide open threes off the break, but we won’t be able to run if we can’t control the defensive boards. But all in all, it was a promising first look at a new team.
