I posted before the season I wish we weren’t going to Maui. First year coach, young team and to go play top 10 teams 3 games into the season is a mistake. Should have eased into this season. It what it is, gotta learn from it and keep moving.

Eh. I tend to be “throw them in the deep end, learn to swim”. Unfortunately they didn’t swim well, and I’m not sure they will this year. Honestly big picture I’m concerned about our coaching staff. I’m really, really uneasy about what they are trying to do on offense. I like the Moore/Donnie combo for next year, but I’m still very unconvinced about the ability of this staff to recruit. Put that with how our guards shoot the ball, and I just have some alarm bells regardless of how early in the process it may be.

It’s still early, but I Think is going to be a long year and big time learning experience for the staff.

Benny being a non-factor is a huge blow. Having 4 bad 5s is a huge issue. Carey, Hima, and Patterson should all be moved on after this year. Probably Copeland too. Playing better comp is good for the pieces we have that can hopefully adapt.
