Once Edwards hit that three, you knew it had to be our night. Great to see Mintz maturing before our very eyes. He is a heck of a player. Hope we have him one more year before he goes pro.

I didn't realize we had 21 fast break points. I hope it continues. JB said he wants Judah to push it, now we have guys running the floor to finish.

Our zone is night and day from early in the season, when we would defend the three by standing inside the line. Last night we really pushed out on them. They hardly had any clean looks from the line, unlike early in the season when teams just spotted up and killed us with open threes. Chris has greatly improved his activity level in the zone, but I think the biggest difference might be Joe. He used to drive me crazy when he defended the three from inside the line and let guys shoot right over him. Now he's way out there pushing them off the line. He's probably playing the best defense since he got to Syracuse.

With the zone so spread out, I'm surprised NC State didn't really hurt us by putting the ball on the floor and getting into the paint and attacking Jesse. They hurt us some with Burns at the foul line area, but not a lot like some teams can. They don't move the ball well with passing. But for everything that went our way last night, we still only beat them by three. NC State could do some real damage in March against man teams.
