It's crazy to see recruiting heat up so quickly! With the coaching changes, do current commits that have previously been hosted for OVs have an opportunity to take a second OV? Is that something the new staff is taking into consideration?

Yes they can take second OVs because of the coaching change

I agree with you, Mike, on the Florida State snub. The selection should be based on what happens on the field, not what the committee thinks would or should happen. If they want to carry this to an extreme, why don’t they just name the playoff teams at the beginning of the season and be done with it. Are they picking the teams for the best television ratings or what? Florida State shouldn’t be punished for having an injured QB and overcoming adversity to win out the season without him. Just my opinion.

Yep, it’s the ratings. ESPN execs very much wanted Harbaugh vs Saban, so that’s what they got.
