You’re that much smaller than all your competition, some of it’s bound to happen. S&C program clearly needs re-evaluation….but the clay they have to sculpt is a problem.

Indeed but quality depth, especially at QB, is a huge issue too. The minute our starting QB gets hurt, it’s over and other programs with similar challenges manage that situation when it happens in plenty of cases, yet it destroyed us just about every year under Babers.

Guessing 7-5 gets us Fenway or Military and Babers gets extended. . 6-6 gets us either to Tampa, Birmingham or Shreveport and I have no idea what Wildhack does but leaning towards him retaining Dino. 5-7 gets Babers fired.

Oh couldn’t agree more DJ. The recruiting hasn’t been good enough….and losing Lamson was a massive hit (as I think we all knew it would be). Same with OG…we have one excellent kid, and despite the yearly “I like Alford/Hatcher/Jones” banter…..those guys just aren’t good at the football.

Yeah I look at the roster, especially on offense, and I think, how many players are really keepers? Not a ton of them

I’m encouraged that Dino has been more focused on the Northeast (to the extent Dino is a factor going forward). The scattershot approach was a mess. And honestly….i think it also shows that the Nick Monroe status as a recruiter was ho-hum big picture….but maybe he’s a better general coach than we thought.
