Another Louis run on 2nd down picks up 4. Sets up 3rd and 1.
Willis on a designed run picks up a first down for Liberty.
Duce Chestnut with a pass breakup on a pass outside. 2nd and 10.
This is the concern with a guy like Willis. Syracuse blitzes, gets there, but he escapes and picks up nearly 30 deep into Syracuse territory.
Liberty goes option, Syracuse forces the pitch but Liberty picks up 5. Sets up 3rd and 3.
Roscoe makes the stop on a run to Green. Maybe half a yard. Sets up 4th and 3. Liberty going for it.
Liberty calls time out with 1 second left on the play clock.
Liberty changes its mind and lines up for a 36 yard FG. He misses wide left. It remains scoreless in the Dome.
Now Syracuse gets Sean Tucker involved right away. Picks up 6 on first down. Nearly broke it for a huge gain.
Tucker gets nothing on 2nd down, however. Sets up 3rd and 4. Syracuse offense needs a first down.
Shrader hits Harris for a first down. Big pickup for rhythm, confidence, etc.
Shrader with a big gain on an RPO keeper as Syracuse is at midfield.
That is three straight first downs now as Tucker goes for 12 on an RPO.
Really nice play by Walker of Liberty to get into the backfield and stop Tucker for a 2 yard loss. 2nd and 12 at the Liberty 42.
