WR corp had a tough day…way too many drops. Maybe some can be attributed to first game under the lights, but yikes. They left at least 10 points on the board. Did Jones get hurt? Remember him almost having an acrobatic catch and it looked like he landed on the ball…didn’t see him in the game rest of the way.

Was thinking the same thing watching the game. Was great watching Shrader shred them and the D was stellar but someone has to catch the ball.

I think the WRs will be ok, and it will help having Jones back in there for a full game(so I hope, I assume he will be ok). Otherwise a fine effort, our first P5 non-conference road win since 2012 at Mizzou(aka the Alec Lemon show/Gross chest bumping Lemon game). This is a good football team, if we can keep Shrader healthy(and overall avoid a lot more injuries) this team could win 9-10 games. Beyond the three game gauntlet, every other game is very winnable

I think if we become bowl eligible it’s a success. A lot of people were saying 9-10 wins after our 6-0 start, and while I agree with you it’s a good football it’s prob also 2-3 injuries away from being a bad football team as well. Shrader goes down it’s a whole different ball game.
